hit the target with a who book

THE HIGHLANDERS

                                            This is the  first story to  feature Jamie  before he joined the TARDIS crew and takes place  after the  place after the power of the DALEKS ware doctor had just changed  his face  at end of tenth planet , the two companions in this adventure are Ben Jackson  and Polly from 1966 whare they first encounter the DOCTOR  in adventure called the war machines . THE HIGHLANDERS one the lost stories of doctor who that was wiped by the BBC or junked in 1970,s only thing i have what story is about is the target book by Gerry Davis that was first published in hardback by W.H ALIEN on 16th August 1984 , GERRY DAVIS  great writer  who understands  writing  for charterers  just like MALCOLM  HULKE to get them off the page , Polly  really comes out amazing  to work things out but dont help from Ben Jackson  taking digs at Polly as his  very lucky am not there to give him a talking too  as the  doctor  give people  gentle push   to be more they are .THE HIGHLANDERS  is  A great audio book well  told history setting that shows landing past  can be dangerous  place  to be and use your wits and imagine  in my mind see the DOCTOR use his acting skills to get out of things  that brings some funny moments to the adventure.   Anneke wills  really brings life to the book , she would be good at doing documentary  voice work  or other audio books, a highly recommend this audio who book     .  rating: 10/10

RELAX WITH WHO

Not bad in audio as you can still pick up whats happening  from theses lost adventures but some second doctor stories going to be harder to follow then first doctor but theses two work well nice and light to get in to if you not well but need something to hear with eyes shut make you better

Here nice light audio book to get in to for  a car journey nicely read  by David  Tennant who has that book voice like tom baker what you want  to grab in good book if you get  the right voice , love new take on treasure island also love the twist .

LOST ADVENTURES OF THE SECOND DOCTOR

This short series really catch  the second Doctor well that brings him back alive  from lost mist of time like never been away like lost friend ask you to join him new adventures and helps people in danger in his way not  been pushed to do so . Very well written with great thought the story lines to give surprises to the outcome for listener , make you come back enjoy them also catch links to past adventures of season 5 the top seasons of 1960,s DOCTOR    WHO that had top monsters The Ice Warriors  , The Daleks , The Cybermen , . Christopher Thomson  really catch the voice and spirt of the second Doctor well even when lot of DOCTOR WHO was wiped  lost forever , am amazed by finds WEB OF FEAR , THE ENEMY OF THE WORLD .
